The idea for Sunday Brunch was born out of a wedding, my wedding to be exact. It was about 36 hours before we were scheduled to board a plane back to Canada when I realized that I had misplaced my bow tie. Knowing my wife could sew I asked her if she would be able to make me a bow tie. She preceded to make not just my bow tie but bow ties for family and closest friends. The reception was overwhelmingly positive.
Upon returning to Japan we began developing the brand, planning out the website, and taking photos for the mockups. We also began the process of sourcing fabrics and hardware.
Our vision is to create quality pieces sourced from environmentally ethical materials.
